In line with the general macro-policies of the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran in reducing government entrepreneurship and increasing the role of private sector in export credit insurance of the Fund, EGFI has finalized 30 agreements with different private trade companies, EMCs, development Funds, or Chambers of Commerce in different provinces, and other NGOs to act as the Fund’s brokers and marketing agencies.
These agreements have been put into force with the aim of the expansion of the penetration rate of export credit insurance services to all parts of the country and more effective service distribution, attracting potential customers, creating a higher level of export credit insurance culture, a more specialized and sectoral marketing and advertising programs. These Broker’s licenses have been issued based on the Fund’s Act and Articles of Association. The range of Brokers’ introductory activities for the Fund are listed below:
• Advertising and marketing for EGFI’s supportive tools and products
• Attracting exporters and traders to benefit from the Fund’s exclusive services
• Providing full guidance and support for the effective completion of exporters' documents for the Fund
• Gathering the Fund’s required information and documents and presenting the file of exporters to the Fund.
• Following up the affairs of introduced exporters until the last issuance stage
• Cooperation in following up on matters related to claims and recoveries
