The representatives of
The Export Guarantee Fund of Iran (EGFI) attended the Berne Union Annual General
Meeting, which was held on 2nd -5th of October in
Belgrade- Serbia with the participation of more than 250 representatives from
85 member countries. The participants had a chance to exchange information and
review the latest developments in the credit insurance market.
During the 4-day
meeting, Mr. Seyed Ali, EGFI’s CEO, had fruitful negotiations with other ECAs
which led to signing an MOU between EGFI and Kuke, the Export Credit Insurance
Company of Poland. Under the MOU, both sides expressed their readiness to
establish a framework for co-operation in supporting and encouraging trade and
investment between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Poland and where
appropriate, the supply of goods and services from their respective countries
as part of a project in a third country, and strengthen co-operation in the
field of export credit guarantee and export credit insurance.
